How A Certificate Works
With a Certificate of Training, you can build your comprehensive knowledge at your own pace. And you can customize the curriculum to your clinical needs and interests by enrolling in a mix of required and elective courses.
Select a Certificate
Select a Certificate of Training from the choices above.
Register for Courses
Enroll first in your required courses, then choose from the list of electives.
Take Each Course
Complete each course as your schedule allows.
Take the Final Exam
Achieve a score of 80% or higher to earn your certificate.
We’ll ask you to take a post-test and survey for each course you’ve completed. You will also take a final exam that will serve as a capstone assessment of what you’ve learned through the course curriculum.

Important notes
- The Certificate of Training is not a certification program. It doesn’t offer a designation or credential such as the Registration Examination for Dietitians. Rather, it will allow you to build a comprehensive depth of knowledge about the topic you’ve chosen.
- It’s important to complete and claim credit for each program within your curriculum. The Commission on Dietetic Registration periodically audits all credits our participants claim. To see a list of the programs you’ve completed, log on to ANHI and click "My Courses" in the blue bar at the top of your screen.

Abbott Nutrition Health Institute is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the California Board of Registered Nursing Provider #CEP 11213.
Abbott Nutrition’s Provider Statement for Dietitian CPEUs:
Abbott Nutrition Health Institute (RO002), is a Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Accredited Provider with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR). CDR credentialed practitioners will receive continuing professional education units (CPEUs) for completion of this program/materials. Continuing Professional Education Provider Accreditation does not constitute endorsement by CDR of a provider, program, or materials.
In addition to completing an online evaluation, participants of our programs can provide feedback directly to CDR.
