Dr Krisanna Deppen is the Associate Director for the Grant Family Medicine Residency Program at the Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. Deppen also acts as the Medical Director for the Community Outreach Program at OhioHealth in Columbus, Ohio. She is a board-certified physician in both family and addiction medicine.
Deppen graduated from Northeast Ohio Medical University in 2004 and completed her residency at the Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. In 2008, Deppen finished her fellowship program in addiction medicine at the Swedish Medical Center in Seattle, Washington. Deppen sits on several community and state committees, including the Governor’s Cabinet Opiate Action Team, the Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome Task Force for Nationwide Children’s Hospital, and the Women’s Health Peer Review Committee, Physician Advocacy Committee, Pain Committee for Grant Medical Center.
Deppen has won numerous awards for outstanding achievements in medical education and patient care. Deppen is a highly-requested speaker on motivational interviewing and substance abuse disorders affecting infants and families.
