A.S.P.E.N. and Abbott Nutrition have joined forces to develop a self-paced online course utilizing the latest technology and information for healthcare providers who need to learn, review or teach the essential elements of nutrition support therapy. Conceived as the brainchild of A.S.P.E.N. leaders Marion Winkler, MS, RD, LDN, CNSD and Scott Shikora, MD, FACS, the Compendium contains 36 distinguished editors, faculty and speakers who have volunteered their expertise to this state-of-the art resource.

The compendium, which was funded exclusively by an educational grant from Abbott Nutrition, is accredited for physicians, nurses, dietitians and pharmacists. The Compendium is divided into seven parts listed below. The learner can earn up to 13.5 CEUs for completing all parts.

Each part has a variety of on demand learning opportunities including lectures, case studies, and test your knowledge questions. The Compendium also includes interviews with the facility members sharing their insights on how they started in the field of nutrition support therapy.
