This course is designed to meet the Continuing Medical Education needs of practicing neonatologists, pediatricians, dietitians and nurses.
Course Description
This activity is designed to benefit the multidisciplinary care team by providing information on nutritional status and understanding of nutritional care timelines. This case will help the team to address the challenges surrounding ensuring proper nutrition from the NICU to home.
Program Objectives:
- To categorize the different approaches to nutrient fortification for the human milk fed preterm infant.
- To construct a framework for a comprehensive nutritional discharge plan for the preterm infant.
