The Neonatal Total Nutrition Therapy* (Neo-TNT) series of educational programs helps to empower healthcare professionals to improve care for neonatal patients, and offers new applications of nutrition support for the preterm infant. In this series, we review:
Preterm infant growth and nutrition assessment
Protein requirements for preterm infants – development of feeding protocols
Optimizing the human milk diet for preterm infants
Developing a NICU feeding protocol
*The Neo-TNT Program has been developed with neonatal nutrition experts around the world.
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
Breastfeeding is best for babies and is recommended for as long as possible during infancy.
Human milk should be fortified for very low birthweight infants.
