Course Description:
In this course, Michelle L. Schneider, MS, RD, CNSC, CCTD, FASPEN will identify the prevalence of adult malnutrition in the critical care setting; demonstrate how to apply the knowledge of nutrition-focused physical exam within the unique challenges of the critical care setting; review the characteristics for identifying adult malnutrition based on AND/ASPEN consensus; and discuss practice strategies (including nutrition intervention) for improved patient outcomes.
