Course Description:
In this course, Joyce Black, PhD, RN, FAAN and Mary Litchford, PhD, RDN, LDN will identify evidence-based practices and nationally recognized guidelines for the management of pressure injuries (PIs) as they relate to patients with diabetes; list the key nutrition interventions associated with the management of PIs; review the role of SPIPP-Adult 2.0 in PI management and discuss how implementing nutrition-related protocols can improve patient outcomes.
