In this course, Mary Litchford, PhD, RDN, LDN and Joyce Pittman, PhD, ANP-BC, FNP-BC, CWOCN, FAAN will identify the role of nutrition in wound healing and nutrition care strategies to enhance recovery in patients with pressure injuries; discuss key nutrition-related care updates from the 2019 Prevention and Treatment of Pressure Ulcers/Injuries: Clinical Practice Guidelines; and determine best practices for implementation of the new guidelines.
