Michelle Doran, RN, MS

Michelle Doran, RN, MS, is the national Maternal Child Health Program Manager for Humana Health Plan, one of the largest health plan companies in the country. She has 17 years of clinical and administrative experience in pediatrics and maternal-child health in various settings, including primary care, acute care, academic medical centers, pediatric rehabilitation and the health plan industry.

Ms. Doran earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from James Madison University, and a Bachelor of Science from The Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing, where she concentrated in community health and participated in the AmeriCorps program. She also received a master’s degree in nursing from Regis College in Weston, MA, with a specialty in Nursing Leadership.

Ms. Doran is a manuscript reviewer for Wolters Kluwer health publications and has consulted for several healthcare organizations. She is an active member of the Organization of Nurse Leaders for Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island, the Massachusetts Perinatal Quality Collaborative and the Association of Women’s Health, Obstetrics and Neonatal Nursing.
