Shlomi Cohen is the Director of the Pediatric Gastroenterology Unit at the Dana-Dwek Children's Hospital, Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center, affiliated with the Sackler Faculty of Medicine, Tel Aviv University, Israel. Dr Shlomi Cohen graduated from the Hebrew University medical school in Jerusalem. He is a specialist in pediatrics and pediatric gastroenterology and liver diseases. His clinical and research interests focus on children with inflammatory bowel diseases, nutrition in IBD, predictors for aggressive disease and transition to adult clinic in a comprehensive, multidisciplinary transition clinic. Another field of interest is the polyposis syndromes in children. Dr Cohen is a senior lecturer in the Sackler Faculty of Medicine, Tel Aviv University and a member of ECCO, ESPGHAN and ISPGAN.
