Course Description:

For patients living with diabetes, poor glucose control increases the risk of developing serious complications and hospital admissions. Improvements in treatment adherence, persistence, and intensification of therapy require proactive collaboration between the healthcare team and the patient. Diabetes care is rapidly becoming more technology-focused, with smart devices, mobile applications, and continuous glucose monitors (CGM), which provide more accurate data. Note: This course is supported by an Abbott Diabetes Care educational grant.
