Course Description:
This education is part of a series of activities on Chronic Disease and Nutrition, in this highly interactive, self-directed activity, expert faculty review how culture effects nutritional health, including insights on collaborating with patients and case examples for review.At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Recognize cultural practices, norms, and beliefs related to nutritional health across diverse groups of individuals
- Collaborate with patients on practices for nutritional management that demonstrate cultural competency
