Course Description:

In this course, Dr. Robert Murray discusses the public health problem of undernutrition in US children and offers interventions for children at risk for growth faltering.

Course Objectives:

After participating in this educational activity, participants should be better able to:
  • Describe how preventative interventions in FTT can avoid future health problems
  • Use the most effective forms of nutrition counseling
  • Relate data that shows counseling along with ONS yields better patient outcomes
  • Discuss the new data indicating that long term ONS does not lead to lower diversity of food choices or higher rates of obesity
