Course Objectives:

  • Assess techniques to implement guideline recommendations into clinical practice on the admission, discharge, and triage process for pediatric patients in the ICU.
  • Evaluate and determine the applicability of the new recommendation that hemodynamic support of neonates and children with septic shock be addressed at the institutional level via their own adopted or home-grown bundles rather than only at the practitioner level.
