CLINICAL DEMONSTRATION MODULES: MEASURING INFANT LENGTH

Meggie Meara, MSN, RN, RD is a nursing clinical leader at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, where she oversees and cares for patients in multiple outpatient clinics for children, adolescent and adult populations. She holds a Master’s degree in Nursing through the University of Illinois at Chicago and a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Dietetics through The Ohio State University. She practiced as a clinical dietitian at Nationwide Children’s Hospital prior to returning to school for her graduate degree in nursing. She has experience as a clinical dietitian in Neonatology, Endocrinology and Cardiology. Her nursing experience includes Obstetrics and Gynecology/perinatal care, Immunodeficiency/HIV care and Adolescent Medicine. During her spare time, Meggie serves as a member in the National Association for Neonatal Nurses (including the Central Ohio Chapter), the Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses, and the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. She has led quality improvement projects that provide easier access to contraception and testing for sexually transmitted infections for adolescents.
