In the SPROUT study, Supporting Pediatric Growth and Health Outcomes, the investigators hypothesized that adding oral nutrition supplements (or ONS) supplying energy, macro- and micronutrients with ingredients to support growth, alongside dietary counseling, will improve key nutritional indicators of anthropometric growth and nutrient intake, as well as other health key outcomes in undernourished children.
