Abstract:

[0.50 CME/CE/CPEU credits] This article offers an in-depth review of the pivotal role of gut microbiota in neonatal health and development. It provides rationale for using prebiotics and probiotics in the NICU; combines the latest research findings with practical experience; and describes key points from the latest guidelines and recommendations from professional associations.
