Nutrition-focused Quality Improvement Program Yields Benefits

Abstract:

This American Society on Aging Generations Now blog summarizes a new study on a real-world quality improvement program (QIP) that evaluated the effectiveness of a nutrition care program in outpatient centers. The study was a collaboration with Abbott and the University of Southern California (USC). The purpose of the 90-day nutrition-focused QIP was to improve care, reduce healthcare resource use, and lower costs.
