Evans, MD is recently joined OhioHealth Trauma and Surgical Services in Central Ohio after completing 7 years as Director of Nutrition Support Services, Trauma Medical Director, and Associate Professor of Surgery at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, OH. He has a busy clinical practice focusing on trauma, emergency general surgery, endoscopy, and critical care. His special interests include nutrition support in surgical and ICU patients and research in surgery and trauma care. He has served as an investigator in multiple clinical trials in critically ill patients focused in the areas of nutrition and infection control and is author of over 100 peer-reviewed publications.

Scott Urquhart is a graduate of the George Washington University PA Program. He has been practicing endocrinology since 1996 with Diabetes and Thyroid Associates in Fredericksburg, Virginia. He is a founding member and Past President of the American Society of Endocrine PA’s. PA Urquhart is an Adjunct Clinical Professor for James Madison University’s PA Program and a Clinical Instructor for the George Washington University PA Program. In 2010 he founded and in 2011 launched the U.S’s first-ever endocrine summit designed for PAs/NPs, called (MEDS) Metabolic and Endocrine Disease Summit. In 2008, he was received the award of Distinguished Fellow of the American Academy of Physician Assistants. He has extensive experience in educational development and as presenter on many endocrine topics at the state and national level. His many publications have appeared in JAAPA, Diabetes Spectrum, and Clinician Reviews, additionally he serves on the editorial board for Clinician Reviews.
