Abstract:
The 40th Congress of the European Society for Clinical Nutrition and Metabolism (ESPEN) was held in Madrid from 1 to 4 September, 2018. Dr André Van Gossum (Belgium, ESPEN Chairman) warmly welcomed ESPEN delegates to Spain. The Congress theme, Nutrition without Borders, was selected to inspire physicians, dietitians, pharmacists, scientists, and nurses to work together in harnessing the benefits of nutrition to maintain health and to support recovery from illness or injury.
