Dr Ra’eesa Doola completed her Bachelor of Health Science, Nutrition and Dietetics and the Queensland University of Technology and her PhD on Nutritional Management of Hyperglycemia in Intensive Care Medicine from the Faculty of Medicine at The University of Queensland in 2019. Dr Doola is currently the Team Leader of Nutrition and Dietetics at Metro South Health and Honorary Senior Lecturer, Princess Alexandra Hospital, at the Southside Clinical Unit of The University of Queensland. Dr Doola has received multiple awards for her research achievements and her interests have focused on nutritional influences on glycemic control, glycemic variability, and inflammation in critically ill patients as well as acutely unwell hospitalized patients.
