Ms. Doran earned a Bachelor’s of Business Administration from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA in 1990. She graduated from The Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She concentrated in community health and was in the Americorps Program with the School of Nursing. In 2012 she completed a Master’s degree in Nursing from Regis College in Weston, MA, with a specialty in Nursing Leadership. She has 17 years of clinical and administrative leadership practice in Pediatrics and Maternal Child Health in various settings including primary care, acute care, academic medical centers, pediatric rehabilitation, and the health plan industry. She is a manuscript reviewer for Wolters Kluwer health journals and publications and has consulted for several healthcare organizations with written documentation and site preparation for Magnet designation. Ms. Doran is an active member of the Organization of Nurse Leaders for MA, NH and RI, the Massachusetts Perinatal Quality Collaborative, and the Association of Women’s Health, Obstetrics and Neonatal Nursing.
