Publish Date: June 2022
Author(s): Dr Adrian Slee, PhD, BSc

Abstract:

Frailty is a common and important geriatric syndrome characterised by age-associated declines in physiologic reserve and function across multiorgan systems, leading to increased vulnerability for adverse health outcomes including falls, disability, hospitalisation and mortality.
