Course Description:
In this course, Dan Nemet, MD, MHA will discuss the prevalence and definition of obesity in children and its impact on short- and long-term health outcomes; discuss the risk for micronutrient deficiencies associated with pediatric obesity; describe the pathophysiology and key factors that lead to childhood obesity; and describe the goals and objectives of the prevention and intervention for the child with obesity.Course Objectives:
