In this course, Alexis Fissinger, MS, RD, CSP will discuss the roles that food and nutrition play in the management of pediatric inflammatory bowel disease (IBD); describe general dietary principles and specific dietary therapies; review the relationship between IBD, food-related quality of life, and disordered eating; and summarize nutrients of concern and current research on supplements and alternative medicine.
